Intuit QuickBooks
Support, product information, and learning resources for QuickBooks financial management products
The Intuit Financial Freedom Foundation donates QuickBooks products to eligible nonprofits and public libraries through TechSoup. Organizations may use these donations for management of their finances. For more information, see the Intuit donations page and the eligibility guidelines for the Intuit Financial Management Program. If you’re looking for software your organization can use to train others in financial management, check out the Intuit Client Education and Support Software program.
Downloading QuickBooks
When your donation request has been approved, you will receive a fulfillment email from TechSoup:
Sender: Fulfillment at TechSoup [fulfillment@techsoup.org]
Subject: Your Intuit Donation Through TechSoup
In that email, you will see the name of the donated product you requested on the first line in the email, such as "QuickBooks Premier Editions 2010 (with 3 User Licenses)." Look for the URL for that specific product further down in the email, as well as product license keys that you will need to complete your installation.
If you have misplaced this email, search your inbox folders for the email with the above sender and subject, or contact client services for further assistance.
If you’re having trouble downloading QuickBooks, see Downloading Software: An FAQ for Beginners.
Installing QuickBooks
Note: If you’ve requested multiple licenses, you can use the same installation file to install the software on all the computers on which you plan to use the product. For example, you can copy the downloaded file onto a portable drive and copy it from there onto the other computers. You do not need to re-download the product on every computer on which you plan to install the program.
Once you have completed your product download, install it by running the program and following the on-screen instructions. If you have trouble installing the program, follow the instructions at the QuickBooks Install Center.
